Loving our Stroller!!!

We got our stroller and we are so excited about it! After much debate we decided on the Uppababy Vista Stroller. We made enough money at our yard sale to purchase it and headed out that week to buy it and bring it home. We had seen it at the store Giggle and decided to purchase it there (it's the same price everywhere). We got to the store, had terrible customer service and found out that it wasn't going to be in stock for 4 to 6 weeks! The employees at the store told us that everyone was sold out on this product because the vendor was out. So we decided it was worth the wait of 4 to 6 weeks and we would go ahead and order it anyway. As I was filling out the paperwork the employee informed me that because we were "special" ordering the product it would be a final sale. That means no returns. At that moment I handed her back the paperwork and said "no thank you". Ed and I being in retail did not understand why it would be final sale. The reason may seem complex but I will explain it for those of you who are interested, if not skip this section -ha-
So if you wanted a yellow upholstered arm chair that you saw on the showroom floor at Crate and Barrel and your wonderful sales associate Ed, told you for that particular item the vendor was out of and it would be 10 to 12 weeks until the vendor had it back in stock you would be pretty bummed. But Ed would know that if he placed the order as a "special" order or "custom" order that you could get the same chair in 6 to 8 weeks. Now this yellow chair would be exactly the same as the chair you saw on the sales floor there really would be nothing special about it. That was the case with the stroller. They were placing it as a special order to get it sooner but there really would be nothing special about it. But instead of doing it that way and applying a return policy (knowing that if it was in that much demand they could sell it to the next customer) they decided not to allow returns.
I was so nervous to buy something expensive that I couldn't return. They ended up telling us that if we wanted to we could return it, but weren't very nice. So we ordered the stroller. After we left the store we felt so taken advantage of instead of excited. We decided to head to another store up the street, The Right Start, just to see what they said. Low and behold the service was amazing and guess what???? They had one in stock!!!!! We quickly headed back to Giggle, canceled our order, got our money back and went straight back to The Right Start to purchase our beautiful stroller!
So here are some pictures of this amazing thing. The first picture shows it with the bassinet attachment.

This picture is of the stroller seat facing the pusher

The seat can also face the other direction and lean back at a 45 degree angle. This is great because it means she can ride in it at an earlier age then most strollers.

Last is a picture of it with the car seat attachment on it. I wanted to show it with the car seat too but I couldn't figure out how to get the car seat of the base ( I will work on that).
So our wonderful stoller also has a rumble seat that you can purchase when you have a second child and a foot stool for even a third child (don't ask when those are coming, we need to birth the first one yet). We are ready for lots of walks around the Rose Bowl, come join!!!!
