Beckett Louise O'Brien

She's here and she's wonderful. Sorry it has taken me so long to blog about her but...well no need to explain right?!?!

On Monday, April 26th, I had a doctors appt and my wonderful Dr. decided it was time to get this baby out. With the combination of how big the baby was getting and the pain I was in from the mix of Lyme and the pregnancy we decided to induce the next day. So the next morning Ed and I got up bright and early and headed out to the hospital. Here is our last picture in our home before bringing our sweet girl home.

We had to take one last belly pic too. HUGE, I know!

I was in labor for 12 hours...I will spare you all the details. Mom and Laura were there all day long!!! Amazing support.

I had to be placed on oxygen for a while to keep Beckett's heart rate up. At this point I was feeling quite ready for her to arrive!
When the baby arrived it was just Ed and I in the room (and the nurse and dr of course) . Our sweet little girl was placed into my arms and I was able to know the miracle that is becoming a mother. Ed sat with her trying to decide what her name would be. He then brought her to me and we both just knew her name should be Beckett. She was 8lbs 1oz and 20.5in long.

Here is a picture of our new born baby girl. She had the cutest swollen eye, we call it her pirate eye!

More updates of what we have been up to these last two weeks to come.
We are soooo in love and having the best time!
